Wearing magnetic therapy jewelry is one of the simplest ways to benefit from Magnet Therapy. A magnetic field increases circulation, reduces swelling, decreases pain, and offers protection from electromagnetic radiation.
First, I’d like to mention
some of the other magnetic devices that can be utilized to provide the body with a therapeutic
static magnetic field, which is the target of Magnetic Therapy.
Magnetic braces are usually designed to fit a
particular body part, such as a hand, knee, ankle, back or shoulder. Some
braces have magnets sewn into them, while others have small slots or pockets
available for you to slip magnets into. These braces tend to be a bit bulky and
somewhat uncomfortable. They often lend to the body perspiring underneath,
especially in a warmer climate or during summer months. Most magnetic braces
cannot be washed without falling apart. Often times the user will stop wearing
the brace, due to the discomfort.
Large block magnets are also available. Quite
often people don’t own their own block magnet, so they tend to visit a
practitioner that can apply a block magnet to a particular body part. This can
be more costly and involve trips to and from the practitioner’s office. With
our busy lifestyles, scheduling can be an issue. Even if you own your own block magnet, you have to sit still while it is being applied. Depending where on
your body the magnet needs to be placed, this can be uncomfortable.
Spot magnets, sometimes referred to as dot
magnets, come with small adhesive bandages that can be placed most anywhere on
the body. The draw back here is that some people are sensitive to the adhesive.
You also have to be careful not to get the bandages wet.
There are many reasons why I prefer wearing magnet jewelry and recommend it to others.
One of the things I love about it is that it can be worn all the time, even while a person is sleeping. It’s important to remember that the longer the body is exposed to a static magnetic field, the more the body will reap the benefits and begin to heal. It's a very simple way to address the symptoms of magnetic field deficiency.
Magnetic therapy jewelry has come a long way. Today, it is both comfortable and attractive. People usually aren't even aware of the fact that you are wearing therapeutic jewelry. There are many types available and many styles to choose from. Golfers and other professional athletes use magnetic therapy for pain. Magnet jewelry is also very affordable. And remember, magnets don’t come with any unwanted side effects.
I get a lot of people that come into my shop looking for natural pain relief. For those complaining of back pain, I will usually recommend a necklace. Occasionally, someone will tell me that they don’t really care for wearing jewelry, not even a necklace. I hear this more often with men than women. Many of them, so fed up with being in pain and nothing working, will give in and try a necklace. It’s amazing how many of them contact me later, elated that their back pain is gone. Often, they go on to tell me that they love wearing their necklace, and are very proud of all the compliments that they get.
One of the first questions people typically ask me is, "how much do I need?" It's impossible to know how much magnetism is required for a particular issue to resolve or for the body to balance and self heal. In the beginning of my research, I had the point of view that it would take a lot. However, I quickly discovered that people (myself included) experienced great results from simply wearing a magnetic bracelet, anklet or necklace.
There are many different types of magnetic jewelry to choose from, all of which offer therapeutic benefits. Magnetite jewelry, Neodymium jewelry, magnetic stainless steel jewelry, and magnetic titanium jewelry, just to name a few.
Sizing magnetic bracelets and anklets properly before you buy will give you maximum comfort and wear of your magnetic jewelry.
When you give the body what it needs it has the ability to balance and heal itself. Wearing magnetic jewelry can assist the body to balance your natural magnetism and achieve a state of homeostasis.
Biomagnets (healing magnets) are very strong and can affect watches and magnetically stored information. Be sure to keep magnets several inches from items such as audio and videotapes, computer hard drives and floppy disks, television and computer monitors, magnetized credit cards or any other cards with magnetized strips. Never put magnets in direct contact with these items, as the items can be damaged.
